I have always been my happiest when creating – no matter the medium.
I completed a double major at Berry College in Art and Industrial Technology.
There was not a grand plan in place, but an evolution of my soul trying to figure out my desire to create while maintaining my position as a responsible adult.
The second trimester of my life was filled with owning an auto repair shop, raising two Eagle Scouts and multiple attempts of trying to fit my desire to create into the cracks. I was especially enamored with Ferro-cement as a medium.
In the process of building an armature then covering it in concrete, I finally began to understand the significance of the double major from my first trimester of life.
I have now entered the third trimester of my life and am in the process of trading in my life as a responsible adult for one who creates. I am filling my gardens with concrete sculptures and symbolic creations. As my evolution continues, I am focused on honing my rhythm with my gardens and my art work.
