I am a 48-year-old burnout former professor of English now working at a call center. I am married with two kids that are now grown. During my free time, I paint, sculpt, make toys, sew clothes, paint clothes, and all kinds of other things to keep ennui at bay. A nerd at heart, I like comic books and sci-fi, but I also am a big fan of the bizarre and indefinable. My favorite artists are, in no particular order: Alex Ross, Basquat, Dali, Earl Norem, Max Ernst, Jack Kirby, and Magritte.
