I’m Nita. My granddaughter calls me “Neetz”. God gave me a very unexpected gift a few years ago. I was stressed-to-the-max with a wonderful full-time job and elderly parents who frequently needed me. I started painting just to relax. Much to my surprise, my friends and family loved it, and so did I 😀
In October of 2023, I retired to be with my Daddy during his last months. (He enjoyed watching me paint and was my biggest encourager. )
Now, I paint (almost) daily and use online resources to learn all I can to improve my skills. Most of my highly textured pieces are created with a palette knife, and my signature is Neetz.
I’m a very involved member of Porterfield Methodist Church serving with Porterfield Methodist Women and Sleep in Heavenly Peace. My paintings are sold at Green Envy Garden & Gifts, and I do commissioned work and love to teach others to create their own unique art.
